The 2018 Asia Cup (generally called Unimoni Asia Cup) is a One-Day International (ODI) cricket rivalry that is starting at now being held in the United Arab Emirates in September 2018. It is the fourteenth arrival of the Asia Cup and the third time the opposition is being played in the United Arab Emirates, after the 1984 and 1995 rivalries. India are the protecting heroes.
The five full people from the Asian Cricket Council are sharing in the opposition: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They were joined by Hong Kong, who won the 2018 Asia Cup Qualifier tournament. Hong Kong had lost their ODI status in the wake of finishing tenth in the 2018 Cricket World Cup Qualifier in March. In any case, on 9 September 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) conceded ODI status to all matches in the opposition.
Protecting victors India will go up against rivals Pakistan on 19 September the day after their opening diversion against the ‘in the not too distant past unsubstantiated qualifiers.
